Welcome to Cook County Schools online student registration! Our online registration platform is designed for new students and all Pre-K registrations. Please review the enrollment eligibility information below and gather all required documents (listed below) before completing the online registration application.

 

 

* Please be advised that Georgia's new Comprehensive School Safety & Well-being Act (GA HB 268) requires that parents disclose any serious discipline or criminal history when enrolling students in grades 4–12*.

 

If you have any issues please email cookregistration@cook.k12.ga.us and provide your name, the students name and date of birth.

     2026–2027 Returning Student Registration is OPEN!

Complete your student's annual registration online through these simple steps:

1️⃣ Access PowerSchool: Log in to the Cook County PowerSchool Parent Portal.

2️⃣ Open Forms: Select the Returning Student Registration tab in your right menu.

3️⃣ Review & Update: Confirm contact info, emergency details, and residency documents.

4️⃣ Submit: Complete and submit forms for each returning student in your household.

Please be sure to check your SPAM folder for and PowerSchool Parent verification, username request or password request emails.

 

In the past we have used SNAPCODES through the Enrollment portal but this year we are completing the form through the Parent Portal.

Documents Required when Enrolling New Students

 

 

ü  Certified birth certificate

 

ü  Proof of residence (current water bill, light bill, or lease agreement)

 

ü  Valid ID/Drivers license of parent/guardian completing registration

 

ü  Child's social security card

 

ü  Immunization form (Form 3231)

 

ü  Eye, Dental, and Nutrition Form (Form 3300)
